Hey all! I am still getting used to this whole blogging thing. I want to try to blog as much as I can. I am not sure if that means every day or a few times a week, so just keep checking in!

Three things I am certain about this week are...

1. 1.It is still raining here in Ca!
   

2. 2.My car is having endless issues that are being difficult to fix!
   

3. 3.Haiti is still in major crisis, and has just had ANOTHER earthquake!
   

I am glad it is raining here. It gives me an excuse not to work out ( I will make any excuse not to go to the gym) and it is helping our drought. Have people who keep complaining a bout the rain forgotten about our drought?Also my  car has died three times this week, and has received two new batteries! I am pretty sick of being at Midas. I have to remember that cars need maintenance, and its just part of life. UGH! As far as the situation in Haiti, what have you all done to help? I did the text YELE to 501501 to give $5 to help with earthquake relief efforts. or text "HAITI" to "90999" to donate $10 to the Red Cross. I hope they receive the money ASAP and can get the help needed. I have heard many touching stories, from people trapped in ruins using their iphones to help heal themselves, to children being brought back to america for adoption. They are in my heart and I can’t imagine the grief and pain they are in.

I am grateful for this life, my job, my friends and family etc. Life throws us some pretty annoying curve balls ( cars, rain,etc...) that can get in the way of our happiness. I have been a part of “Wicked” for a little over two years, and just like any job there are days when it seems hard to keep a smile on your face. I believe in positive thinking, and I keep the people who think the same around me. They are amazing! They believe in me, even when it seems no one else does. They make me want to keep smiling, and so I do. That is how I want people to see me, and remember me. Do you all do the same?

I received great news this week that I will be the new Nessarose understudy in “Wicked” SF. I have believed in my heart for two years that some day I would get to wear those jeweled shoes! I couldn’t have asked to understudy a more beautiful and talented actress such as Deedee Magno Hall. There are also about to be many new faces within the company, and I am excited to welcome them with open arms! Keep checking in for official dates! xx
